Research and Personal Interests

My research interests include uncertainty quantification (UQ) and multiphysics simulations of the dynamics and structure of materials and physical systems. I consider my research to be a sort of “bridging the gap” between theorists and experimentalists—computational methodologies and tools such as those of UQ provide important insight into both experimental design and model analysis.

Outside of research, I enjoy playing all kinds of games—VR, board games, D&D—especially with friends and family. I also like spending time outside as well as reading historical biographies and Brandon Sanderson novels.
